Goal:
Research of practical problems in the field of computer engineering, publishing and application of research results.
Outcome:
Students are trained for publishing, applying, and producing research results, independently or in a project team, in the field of computer engineering.
Contents of the course
Practical instruction (Problem solving sessions/Lab work/Practical training):
- Applied research work is done in a company dealing with computer engineering, with which the higher education institution has a contract, and after the agreement of the mentor.
- The realization of the applied research work can start when the student passes the exam Research methods and after the approval of the topic of the research.
- Upon completion of the project, the student, with the consent of the mentor, presents the results of the project in the form of a seminar paper.
- The seminar paper, after possible corrections, becomes Master thesis.
